Are you a parent who wants to get out of the house with their little one?
Need to find things to do on a budget? Want to make friends with other parents, chat rubbish and drink tea? We are running arts & crafts sessions for parents with children (under 3 years of age) every two weeks at our office in Glastonbury. We will be doing things like painting by numbers, making easter decorations, clay jewellery bowls and more. Everything made can be taken home. Every session is £1 per adult to cover materials and hot drinks, there will be a breakout area for children to play in, and we have toilets, and a kettle you can use. Session dates are the following: . Tuesday 5th March 10.30-12.30 . Tuesday 19th March 10.30-12.30 . Tuesday 2nd April 10.30-12.30 . Tuesday 16th April 10.30-12.30 . Tuesday 30th April 10.30-12.30 . Tuesday 14th April 10.30-12.30 . Break for half term and run every two weeks on a Tuesday. Womens fantastical gardening group
A sociable gardening group for ladies, get fitter, get outside and boost your inner glow. Womens gardening group. Starting Tuesday 2nd April 2024 10: 30am until 2pm every Tuesday @ the Growing Happiness project. 9 Silver Street, Glastonbury BA6 8BS. Come and join us at this sociable gardening group, get fitter, get outside and boost your inner glow, brush off the winter cobwebs and just have a nice time. No experience required, but you may want to bring a waterproof coat and wear some boots or wellies. You may want to bring some snacks as we will stop at midday for a cuppa. 16 plus, then this is for you. |
Working from home - not from home.Bring your laptop and chat to others who also work for home. Once a week meet ups for anyone who works from home to complete your work but with company. Have a little chin wag about your week, drink some hot drinks and make some friends with others in the same boat as you.

Are you working from home? or Are you finding you want to make more friends? or Are you feeling a bit lonely? Wanna do something physical once a week to keep/get fitter? In-between jobs and going stir-crazy at home? Well if you're a bloke and wanna come to hang out with other blokes come on by! The Wednesday sessions are open to anyone who identifies as a bloke to come and chat rubbish, make friends, build stuff (or be taught how to build stuff), drink tea, light bonfires and talk to other blokes while also doing a hobby. It's a great way to start friendships while also doing something that gives back to the community. If you're interested either message The Volunteer Network or come to our office at 9 Silver Street, BA6 8BS on Wednesday mornings from 10-12.30 and you'll be welcome to join in with the fun Most sessions will be held in our community allotment across the road and there are no commitments if it isn't your cup of tea |
